Stasera durante il settimo live show di X Factor 9 i cinque concorrenti rimasti in gara si metteranno alla prova con il loro brano inedito. È una tappa fondamentale per Enrica, Urban Strangers, Moseek, Giosada e Davide, i 5 “sopravvissuti” che dovranno mostrare ancora una volta le loro capacità e dimostrare di poter conquistarsi un posto di rispetto all’interno del mercato musicale italiano.
Fra i brani più attesi c’è quello degli Urban Strangers, i due ragazzi napoletani che fin dalle auditions sono fra i favoriti di questa edizione di X Factor e hanno già scalato le classifiche musicali. Infatti il loro EP omonimo di debutto ha già raggiunto le vette delle classifiche di iTunes.
L’inedito che presenteranno stasera si intitola Runaway, ha un sound molto elettronico, con contaminazioni urban house e si allontana quindi dalle classiche atmosfere acustiche a cui gli Urban Strangers ci hanno abituati. Il testo è stato scritto dai due ragazzi (Alessio Iodice e Gennaro Raia i loro veri nomi) in collaborazione con Ennio Mirra e Rufus Ferrante, proprietari dell’etichetta discografica Casa Lavica che ha scoperto e lanciato gli Urban Strangers.
“È l’ultimo pezzo che in modo simpatico è stato scritto nella massima fase di adolescenza, nel momento in cui vedevo che la gente cambiava e che io stavo cambiando“, spiega Gennaro. “Abbiamo aggiunto anche una parte rap scritta ultimamente“. “Ci siamo resi conto che stiamo facendo un bel lavoro, il pezzo sta uscendo abbastanza bene” aggiunge Alessio. Fedez si dice fiero di loro: “sono molto forti, indubbiamente molto bravi. Sono onorato di aver lavorato con loro“.
